Like the author, I was somewhat frustrated with trying to understand what is required to create a phone app. This book and the software Mobione (it costs extra but reasonable) is exactly what I've been looking for. It simplifies app creation and gave me a starting point to understand this technology without spending a lot of money.I really appreciate this book and being introduced to mobione. Just wish there were some more advanced books by the author on this subject ... hint hint : )

Since there is no other written manual to the Mobione program (which is very good) it is good to have this. But the Mr. Justin Bowditch could have worked a little further and given more practical examples and maybe introduction to inclusion of scripts and a list of practical scripts to enlarge the repertoire of widgets - that would have been helpful. But as a start help it is ok.
This book is really just an instruction manual for users of MobiOne.Mobione is a very limited scope software and this book is useless to anyone not using it
